Broadcast Viewership Details

The Saturday epic game secured 27.33M audience members on Fox Sports channels, its Spanish-language channel and their streaming platforms. Per ratings data, it was the second most-watched program of the week.

It additionally is the most-watched Fall Classic game since the 2017 edition final game involving the Dodgers and Astros, which drew 29.07M. This marks a sixteen percent improvement over the last Game 7 featuring the Nationals and Astros, which attracted 23.19M.

In the weekly rankings, Game 6 placed fourth, Game 4 ranked seventh, the fifth game came in 8th, and the third game landed in 13th position.

In Japan, where the final game began at 9 PM in the local time zone, it averaged 12 million viewers. This followed the previous Friday’s sixth game – where World Series Most Valuable Player Yamamoto gave up one run in six innings – drew 13.1M viewers, making it the most-watched World Series game on a single network in Japan.

Series Averages and Patterns

The full seven-game World Series recorded over 15.7 million audience members on the Fox network, a 2% increase from the previous year’s Dodgers-Yankees series. This marks the first time since 2015 and ‘16 that the Fall Classic has recorded audience increases for two consecutive seasons.

Including the Game 1 broadcast on Univision, the total US viewership reached 16.1 million. The total Fall Classic viewership in Japan was 9.7 million and 8.1 million in the Canadian market.
